It can be accompanied by an improvising drummer familiar with belly dance rhythms. The form of this beledi tune is A-B-A-C-A-D-A, with each section repeating. This music would also be enjoyable for any violinist interested in exploring world music genres. The music goes up to third position on the violin. She studied and performed oriental dance for several decades, which inspired her to compose this original dance music.
